Insiders’ Guide to Art Fairs: Building Your Collector’s Eye & Community

  • Alisan Fine Art 120 East 65th Street New York, NY, 10065 United States (map)

In celebration of AAPI Heritage Month and timed alongside NYC’s May art fair season, Noeme Foundation invites you to the third session of our Art of Collecting Art curriculum:
Insiders’ Guide to Art Fairs: Building Your Collector’s Eye & Community.

This special evening takes place at Alisan Fine Arts during Painting as Method, an exhibition featuring the works of Kelly Wang, Yifan Jiang, and the late Mimi Chen Ting.

As art fairs become increasingly central to the global art ecosystem, this panel explores how both new and seasoned collectors can navigate them with clarity, intention, and confidence. From spotting standout works to cultivating lasting relationships with artists, gallerists, and fellow collectors, this session offers practical strategies alongside personal reflections from artists and curators deeply embedded in the field.
